1. Who operates Calendo

Calendo is a planning service operated by Neil Busque. In this policy, “Calendo,” “we,” and “us” mean Neil Busque operating the service at calendo.me. This policy covers our website, workspace, and public booking pages. For privacy questions or requests, contact busqueneil@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, account identifier, sign-in information, and any name, profile photo, or preferences you provide. With Google sign-in, we receive the basic identity information authorized by Google, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Planning content: tasks, projects, notes, journal entries, schedules, recurring rules, completion history, time entries, and saved personal context or check-ins you enter.
  • Calendar connections: the Google account email, authorization tokens, calendar identifiers and list, event details, and synchronization records needed for the calendar features you enable. Subscribed calendar feeds include their URLs and the event information supplied by the feed.
  • Zoom connections: when you connect Zoom, we receive your Zoom user ID and email, store encrypted authorization tokens, and create or manage meetings for your bookings. Meeting titles include the meeting type and host and guest names. We keep Zoom meeting IDs and guest join links with booking records. We do not request recording permissions or store host start links. Disconnecting or revoking access removes connection credentials; booking history and links remain until removed with the related data. Contact support to request removal of retained Zoom data.
  • Bookings: host settings, availability, guest name and email, time zone, selected meeting time, and answers to the host’s booking questions, plus confirmation, cancellation, and reminder records.
  • Optional AI: questions, recent conversation, selected planning context, and generated responses. If you supply an OpenRouter key, we store an encrypted version and a short identifying hint.
  • Technical and support information: browser and device information, IP addresses and request or error logs processed by our hosting providers, security and rate-limit records, and information you send when requesting help.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, save and synchronize your workspace, display calendars, manage bookings, deliver requested planning assistance, remember preferences, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or use planning content or Google user data for advertising.

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide the service you request, with your consent for optional connections or permissions, for legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, or to meet legal obligations. You can withdraw permission for optional connections without closing your entire workspace.

4. Google sign-in and Google Calendar

Google sign-in identifies your account. Connecting Google Calendar is a separate optional action. Calendo requests permission to read your calendar list to identify your primary calendar and other calendars you have selected in Google Calendar, and to read and edit calendar events for scheduling and synchronization. This can include event titles, descriptions, start and end times, time zones, locations, meeting links, organizers, and attendees.

Calendo uses this access to show your commitments, check availability, synchronize scheduled tasks, and create, update, or cancel calendar events associated with actions you take in Calendo, including bookings. A Google permission description may cover more actions than an individual feature performs. We do not request Gmail or Google Drive access.

Google authorization tokens are encrypted before storage. Calendar connection records and task-to-event mappings are stored with your account. Calendar information can also appear in your saved planning content and device cache. If you use connected AI assistance, relevant calendar summaries can be included as described below.

Calendo’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used for the visible features you request, not advertising, sale to data brokers, or training generalized AI models. Human access is limited to circumstances permitted by that policy, such as your specific consent for support, security investigations, legal requirements, or permitted aggregated internal operations.

You can disconnect in Settings → Connections or revoke access in your Google Account connections. Disconnecting removes Calendo’s stored connection tokens and synchronization mappings and attempts to revoke Google access. It does not delete existing Google events, your Google account, or planning content already saved in Calendo. See the deletion instructions below to request removal of retained Calendo data.

5. Optional AI assistance

When you use connected AI coaching, Calendo sends your question and relevant context through OpenRouter to the model provider used for that request. Context may include tasks and notes, project summaries, calendar-event summaries, planning preferences, recent conversation, and personal context or check-ins you saved for Cal. Ordinary Google sign-in does not by itself send your information to an AI provider.

If you use voice input, your browser’s speech-recognition service processes microphone audio under its own policies; that processing may happen on a remote server. Calendo receives the recognized text and handles it like a typed message. Microphone access is optional and controlled by your browser.

These providers process that information to return an answer. Calendo requests routing that excludes providers allowed to collect prompts for training. We do not use your Google data to train generalized models. Provider processing and operational retention are also governed by the provider’s terms and your OpenRouter account settings; this is not a promise that every service retains no logs.

AI assistance is optional. Avoid including information you do not want processed by these services. Removing a personal API key removes the stored key, but a configured workspace key may still be available; you can stop using connected AI without disconnecting your calendar. Read OpenRouter’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

6. Who receives information

Service providers process information needed to operate Calendo: Vercel for hosting and delivery; Supabase for account authentication, database storage, and applicable file storage; Google for enabled identity and calendar features; OpenRouter and the selected model provider for optional AI requests; and Resend for configured transactional booking emails. Providers receive the data needed for their role.

If you book with a Calendo host, that host receives your booking details and answers and may handle them under their own policies. Event attendees may receive invitations or event updates. Public booking pages display the host’s published information and available slots; they are intended to be shared. Treat calendar subscription links and booking management links as private because possession of a link can grant access to its contents or actions.

We may disclose information when legally required, to protect the service or people from harm, or in a service transfer subject to appropriate protections and notice where required. Google data remains subject to the Limited Use restrictions above.

7. Cookies, device storage, and notifications

Calendo uses browser storage and necessary cookies for sign-in, authorization security, workspace caching, and preferences. The installed app may cache resources for faster loading. Clearing browser storage can sign you out and remove local preferences or unsynchronized work; it does not delete your server account. Calendo does not currently install advertising pixels or advertising cookies. See our cookies and local storage notice.

Browser notifications are optional and can be disabled in Calendo or your browser. Booking confirmations and enabled reminders are transactional messages associated with a booking.

8. Storage, security, and retention

We keep account and planning information while needed to provide your workspace, unless you delete it or request account deletion. Connection credentials are retained until removed, revoked, or no longer needed. Operational records may be retained as needed for security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Residual copies may remain in backups until those backups expire under the relevant provider’s retention cycle.

We use account-based access controls, encrypted connections, and encryption for stored integration credentials. No internet service or storage method is completely secure. Calendo and its providers may process information outside your country. Where legally required, transfers must use applicable safeguards; this policy does not promise a specific storage country.

9. Access, correction, and deletion

You can edit or delete supported planning items in the app and manage connections in Settings. To request a copy of your data, account deletion, correction, or removal of retained Google data, email busqueneil@gmail.com from the email associated with your account with the subject “Calendo privacy request.” Tell us which request you want completed. Do not send passwords, API keys, or authorization tokens.

We may verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any information we must retain. Deleting your Calendo account does not delete copies already held by booking hosts, attendees, Google, or other services you chose to use; those services manage their copies separately.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. Children and policy changes

Calendo is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate additional notice and obtain consent where required before using information for a new purpose.
